Welcome to my website! My name is Allison Matherne and I’m the Principal of Allistration Design. My company name is a play-on-words reflecting my name and longtime love for art and illustration.
Allistration Design was founded in 2003. In college, I designed logos with an artistic flare which drew a lot of clients to my freelance business. Since graduation, I have continuously freelanced design work while also working full-time in the same trade.
In 2008, I decided to turn my freelance design into a full-time business and make it my sole career. Event though children weren’t yet in the picture, part of making that decision was I knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home working mom. I am now a mother of two precious girls and can be home with them while having a thriving design business.
Continuing education and learning is important to me in order for my business to stay current on ever-changing technology and trends. This helps give me the competitive edge against graduating design students. My business focus has evolved by expanding from solely print design to website design, SEO, and social media advertising.
